TRADITIONAL COUNSELORS

  • Bedding for a queen size mattress. If you already own a mattress pad, feel free to bring it.

  • During training camp, you will be sleeping on a twin-size mattress, so you may want to bring twin bedding and a separate bag for those 10 days.

  • Some people bring stuff to decorate their room – nothing too major, but this will be your room. So, you can bring stuff to make it feel like home if you’d like (pictures, small decorations, etc.). Only Sticky Tack is allowed on the walls.

  • Candles are NOT permitted.

  • A lamp for your bed is nice. You’ll have a shelf above your bed, so it doesn’t need to clip onto the bed.

  • A fan to drown out noise. There’s a good chance that you will have snoring campers!

  • You will have drawers under your bed and a closet with a shelf and hanging rod.

  • Any books you might want to use as counseling resources.

  • Ideas/supplies for rainy afternoons when you might be stuck in your rooms. This time can be tons of fun and memorable for campers. (Girls, nail painting parties are a classic. Guys, card games are always a hit)

  • Throw blanket

Traditional Program, Foodservice, Admin, and Retail will stay in the cabin rooms with counselors and campers as well!
